Photodeal are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect about you, how we collect and use it, and the uses to which we might put it, including any other parties to whom we may transfer your personal information.

What personal information do we collect?
Some of our services require payment. We therefore need to collect your e-mail address, card holder address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and type, card start date, card issue number and card expiry date. Your credit card details are stored securely and separately from other information and are never re-used except to fulfil your order.
To enable us to improve the quality of service provided we also need to collect information about your computer system, including (but not limited to): IP address, free disk space, display resolution, colour depth and order upload duration.
Cookies
Cookies allow us to recognise you as a customer and make your visits to photodeal more efficient. Cookies record only the information you offer us when registering and using the photodeal site. For example we use cookies (unless your browser’s cookie support has been disabled) to record your registration details. Every time you log in our server recognises you so you don’t have to re-enter your details. Within the site a session cookie will ensure your ‘shopping basket’ order is retained, allowing you the freedom to move around the site and not worry about loosing your order.
IP Addresses
Your IP address identifies your computer and we use it to help administer our customer database ensuring we respond to our customers needs, improving our services and website. We gather information about how long our customers stay on the photodeal site, what services they use most and other demographic information that can help us make photodeal a better site. We do not link your ID number with your personal details.
What does Photodeal do with the Customer information it collects?
We will use your personal information to confirm your orders with you and verify you as a registered member of Photodeal.
If you have not opted out from “promotional offers” (using the option in the “My preferences” menu in the “My account section” ), we will use your personal information to keep you up to date with the latest new & offers of the Photodeal print and share service, as well as new products and technologies.
WE WILL NOT pass on your details to any third parties except for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order.
If, at any time, you would rather not receive any such information, please send us a blank e-mail to unsubscribe@photodeal.co.uk, or opt out using the the option in the “My preferences” menu in the “my account section”. In those circumstances, we will keep your information on file so that we can fulfil your orders, but we will not e-mail you or contact you by telephone, fax or post with any further offers, promotions or news, nor provide your personal information to any third parties.

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998, you acknowledge that, in the course of registering and using our service, information will be captured electronically or otherwise and transmitted to us or to any third parties who host our web servers.

Our Responsibilities - How does Photodeal protect customer information?
As required by the UK Data Protection Act of 1998, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. When you place orders or access your account information, we offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software encrypts both your photographic images submitted to us and all credit card information you provide to us.
At times, we may let you know about the products or services provided by carefully selected third parties. We will only deal with partners who comply with the UK Data Protection Act 1998 or whom we are satisfied have appropriate measures to protect data.
Changes to Privacy Policy
If we change our privacy policy, we will post the new policy on our website. Please visit this Privacy Policy on a regular basis to make sure you have read the latest version and you understand what we do with your personal information.

What you can do to protect your privacy
We strongly advise you not to share your password with anyone. We also suggest that if you are accessing your Photodeal account via a public computer or a shared computer that you ensure you log out of the Photodeal site at the end of your session.
